CIP has officially ended two weeks ago ! Although it was not very memorable , (becuase of all the mischievious kids running around , and the disappearing kids as well?) but perhaps it will be something i will always hold close to my heart. knowing the kids has really been a great time for me, there is nothing more fulfilling than to see them following your instructions and having fun at the same time.

of course, sometimes they tend to disregard whatever you have told them and this makes us people who are doing the cip all the more irritated , in addition to the hot afternoon. but i try to understand them , or at least i hope i have tried.. by attempting to integrate into their small little world to understand them and allow them to have someone to talk to at least if i am unable to solve all their problems . but then , one may ask , whats the point of helping these delinquent kids when their chracter building which requires a far longer period is beyond our abilities. i think the best answer would be to make them feel as blissful as they can .

after all they are kids, and they are really a special bunch . yes believe me.

its the period of their lifetime when they can enjoy as much as they can without being pressurized by externally. just recall the smile on their faces. perhaps their happiness was achieved at the expense of ours.. but no longer should we be too concerned about our own happiness when faced with such a innocent and extraordianry group of young children. in case you haven't realized, what my previous sentence meant is that they are problematic kids facing social and family issues. perhaps , their parents may be fighting when the sun set, not realizing that their child requires their attention, not much , but just an unselfish bit would be more than enough. they may be full of foul words, but that doesn't stop them from making kind gestures to you when you treat them to snacks, or thank you when you have helped them in some way or another

perhaps it might be hard to change them , but we don't have to . we just want to bring lasting smiles onto their face once more. :)

perhaps they may not remember me , but one day if ever i see any one of them on the streets, i really do hope they can wave hello to me..
